It was a pleasure to host Cushla and Mere at the Whakaki Community Resilience Hub, the meeting was about making connections and networking for the betterment of our community and the hub itself.
We explained the problems we face as a community “when the lights go out”, and how we came about as an organisation to better our outcomes for all our whanau, and which direction we are taking next.
We included a plan of where we need to be going and what we need to achieve this goal. Whilst this was a very informal hui, it was an awesome to korero with someone who is passionate about her constiuency and her people.
